Feeling guilty for enjoying the fun parts of your country is a scary thing… I realized today that I walked a bit in the center that I missed this place so much. I haven’t been in Athens for 5 months and I find it the most interesting city that I’ve ever been. Ecstatic as I was that I’m back I took 2 photos of funny details like hanging merchandise outside a store and a pile of frozen octopuses at the supermarket! And then I came back and I felt guilty that I start acting as a tourist in this city and it didn’t cross my mind that the guy with the store might not be able to pay his rent and that people in the supermarket can’t afford to buy food… And I ask, are we forced to not see the fun parts of this culture because of the times we live in? Should I get into the depressed mood that is all around?

I’m excited! It’s this feeling like being in love! 

I’m in love with my work.

It’s how they used to tell me when I was a kid that when you do what you love you can’t be tired. That a good comment on your work can make your day. That when you love what you do you just want to improve and keep on trying and nothing can stop you! 

It feels like this is what I’m supposed to do in life and this is a beautiful feeling!

It’s like finding the love of your life! 

P.S. I presented my semester work and it turned out as i hoped! 

Am I becoming a hippie?? I really dont know… But I have this feeling that I want an old caravan (VW will be great) and travel around for a while. Not forever!

I would also really love to go to some greek island right now. I love the islands in the winter… They are so calm.

For now I’m not going anywhere. Too busy!

Alors, voila! soup d’oignon! Today is super cold in Prague… We need a soup!

For dinner I made french onion soup and I’m baking some mushrooms with rosemary!

Well, I don’t consider Wes Anderson as the best director out there but he sure has some qualities and amazing production design/art directors!
